Comedian Dr. T Amale Granted Bail After Sleeping Behind Luzira Prison Bars for a Weekend

After spending the entire weekend confined to Luzira prison cells, local comic Kafeero Innocent Tobby alias Dr. T Amale was granted bail.

Following the court hearing, the judge granted Dr. T Amale a cash bail of UGX 800,000 on the basis that there was no reason to deny the comedian bail and that all of the issues brought up by his accuser could be heard swiftly.

Dr. T’s trustees were mandated to each pay UGX 2 million non-cash bond and leave their national identity cards in court.

While addressing the media, Dr. T Amale’s accuser Morris Katende of the Seguku-based Filling Heaven International Ministries made it known that he wanted the comedian to spend the festive eve in prison as this would put him in his rightful place.

Given his heartfelt sermons, Morris Katende insisted that he believes T. Amale is being driven by a force that he would prefer to remain secret and that is working hard to have the pastor cease preaching the word of God.
