Celebrated local comedian Amooti Omubalanguzi born Allan Mujuni has advised artists to stop using drugs.
Appearing in an interview with Spark TV, Amooti revealed that artists embark on using various intoxicating substances as a solution to their difficulties.
He urged critics that before passing judgments, they ought to reach out and understand the reason behind their decisions.
Amooti maintained that the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF), is working diligently to address issues of the skyrocketing abuse abuse in the entertainment industry.

The veteran comedian further urged the Uganda government to intervene, know musicians’ challenges, and find solutions as one of the ways to combat drug addiction among artists.
