Bobi Wine’s sister and singer Irene Kayemba was earlier today unveiled as the Bidco Uganda brand ambassador.
Bidco Uganda Ltd (BUL) is Uganda’s leading agribusiness, with integrated operations encompassing upstream oil palm plantations and mills, midstream edible oil refineries and downstream consumer products.
Today, BUL is the home of some of Uganda’s most loved brands for edible oils, hygiene and personal care and food products.
In an effort to widen its market base, and develop local talents, the company has put pen to paper with singer Irene Kayemba as a brand ambassador.
The singer was unveiled earlier today at a press conference held at Forest Cottages in Naguru, which was also attended by the company’s executives who spoke to the press.
Irene Kayemba is a lively, talented, and enthusiastic singer who has worked on a variety of projects, including Nze Amulina, Woman, Omulongo, and Binyuma.

Bidco Uganda executives attributed their decision of appointing Irene Kayemba as the company brand ambassador to being a responsible mother, decent entertainer and a real fighter for a social cause.
