Jera Kingdom Teams Up With Gravity Omutuju on ‘Tombawala’

Singers Jera Kingdom born Hajara Nasuuna and Gravity Omutuju have teamed on a new music project dubbed ‘Tombawala’

Jera Kingdom hasn’t put out a new song in a year for reasons that are best known to her.

The singer is back, though, and if we are to judge from the vigour she shows in her new visuals, she is fresh and revitalized.

‘Tombawala’, is a Luganda phrase that can be loosely translated to ‘Don’t be far from me’.

In the song, Jera Kingdom pleads with her partner not to leave her before declaring that she would always be there for him despite the public’s disapproval of their connection.

The song has a wonderful feel thanks to Gravity’s infamously contentious lyrics, which complement Jera Kingdom’s delicately vocals.
