Singer Nina Roz born Nina Kankunda has expressed her intention to run for the Ssembabule Women member of Parliament.
The development unfolded just a few weeks after Nina Roz revealed how she was considering taking a political direction.
Renowned for her strong affiliation with Bobi Wine’s political party the National Unity Platform (NUP), Nina a while back returned to the University to further her studies ahead of achieving her political ambitions.
While addressing the press recently, she was cheekily advised to have a baby, to which she responded by urging journalists to instead encourage Ssembabule residents to vote for her when the opportune moment arrives to assume the parliamentary seat.
