Former UMA president and veteran singer Sophie Gombya has poured cold water on swirling rumours suggesting she is pregnant.
For the past few months, gossip had it that Sophie Gombya and her husband Sam Gombya were looking forward to expanding their family further.
The rumor, which was spreading like a wild wife, was built on Sophie Gombya’s weight gain, which is a trait shared by the majority of expecting moms.
Sophie, however, put the rumors to rest, before crediting self-care and love for her weight gain in a candid interview with Spark TV.
The singer stressed that it is about time she puts on some weight and looks fantastic in clothing since she isn’t worried about raising children anymore.

She also made it clear that she gave up on giving birth, having welcomed her last born a few years back with her husband Sam Gombya
