Last evening, Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) joined cultural leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs and partners at the Luo Legacy Dinner2026, which also marked the official launch of the Digital Luo Museum.

Held under the theme “Building Bridges, Inspiring Change through Culture, Heritage, Tourism & Innovation,” the event celebrated an important step in preserving Luo culture, stories, traditions and indigenous knowledge through digital innovation, making this heritage more accessible to audiences in Uganda and across the global diaspora.

The Digital Luo Museum presents new opportunities to strengthen cultural tourism, education and research while ensuring that Uganda’s diverse heritage is preserved, shared and experienced by future generations thereby fully promoting Ugandan tourism business.
